Wood Science confirms that, "THE ABSENCE OF MOISTURE IS THE ABSENCE OF ISSUES"  With a ZERO moisture content created in wood treated with the CedarShield DECK-DOCK-FENCE solution, wood cannot host insects such as ants, carpenter ants, termites or carpenter bees. Wood without moisture cannot support interior or exterior bacteria or fungal organisms referred to as "WOOD ROTTERS".  Wood without moisture prohibits the rooting of mildew and other surface molds. Wood without moisture cannot expand and contract, it cannot cup, twist or split.  Wood stabilized with CedarShield will not experience fastner rejection or corrosion issues.  Wood without moisture but with silicon deposits experience the early stages of petrified wood.  Treatment with CedarShield is a ONETIME-LIFETIME treatment. Coatings including but not limited to paints and stains will adhere perpetually when the wood is not able to expand and contract.  The woods strength is increased up to two fold.
